Arthur was a prolific writer, the scans below give an idea of the task I have in transcribing these letters. The letter below dated 7th February 1915 is typical and was in an envelope together with another dated 10th February, many other envelopes contain more than one letter. Some of the letters are shorter than these, many others are a lot longer and as you will see I have only partly transcribed and published many of the letters. I have over 140 letters in total, only 80 or so are partly transcribed and on this website. Please click the scans for a bigger photo.
